How to use the Metro system?

The Metro de Caracas is a subway service that allows users to travel almost along the whole city. The complement of this service is the Metrobus, which is a surface transportation service that integrates the underground service through urban and suburban routs.

To make our journey on the Metro system, we have the following modalities:

When the trip starts at a station and the destination is a different station, you need to purchase a ticket at the booth operator. The ticket can be one trip, round-trip or a multiple-trip ticket (flat rate regardless the number of stations), except for the service to Metro Los Teques that has a different rate for it is a suburban line.

If the origin of the trip is a station and the destination is a Metrobus route, the user must make their way by train and continue their journey in the corresponding surface transport, so you must purchase the ticket booth built into the operator that will serve to make both trips.

If the user is in a Metrobus stop route and wants to travel to a station, must purchase an integrated ticket when boarding the Metrobus. The ticket must then be used to enter the Metro station, thus fulfilling the integration process of both systems.

In all cases, the user’s mode of travel will depend on the origin and destination.
