Prodigy Japanese pitcher Sayuri Yamane said to be surprised with the loss -4 to 0- they suffer to United States on the second day of the 12th Softball Women`s World Championship playoff in Caracas 2010. Japanese lost in a close game where Americans took the advantage from the very first inning. “This was an unexpected score, however we continue fighting hard for the gold medal,” said. Yamane also commented on the Japanese flaws facing the American team. “Japan stands out by its defense rather than by its offensive, however I think we might improve our batting game, that was our weakness today”, Japanese pitcher explained.
Yamane also commented that she and her team partners are focused on winning the tournament in Caracas: “nothing will distract us from that goal.” |
