The Canadian National team staged an amazing comeback to beat China, 1 to 0, with a walk-off single, making it possible to keep its winning hopes alive in the fight for the gold medal in the 12th Softball Women’s World Championship.After a hard triumph against Australia (3 – 2) earlier in the Friday afternoon, Canadians fought hard to win again. They deservedly won at the bottom of the seventh inning. Chinese batting force was absent in this game.
