As part of the evaluation of the 12th World Championship, President of the Softball Venezuelan Federation (in Spanish FVS Federación Venezolana de Softball) Jesús Suniaga said that the institution will follow a working plan to consolidate softball in Venezuela.
“After the 12th Softball Women´s World Championship we´ll keep on working to promote this sport discipline. Fevesoftbol has a development project to take softball all over the country. We plan to create three clubs in each municipality for 9 to 12 years old small girls. If the project is carried out, 20.000 girls will be playing softball only in 2 years,” Suniaga said.
President Suniaga stated that the future of the women´s softball in Venezuela is guaranteed. "We work with the relieve generation. We have a school so we are hopeful," stated.
